Skip Waste Guide

As a valued customer of Nationwide Direct, we aim to provide you with as much information as possible regarding current legislation and any future changes which will affect the collection and disposal of your waste.

Under the current Duty of Care, it is the responsibility of the waste producer to be aware of what can and cannot be included in a skip.

The critical impact of the Duty of Care is that hazardous waste and wastes containing hazardous elements now have to be stored and disposed of separately and cannot be included in your general waste disposal.

If you should have any wastes that are listed below or you are unsure of how to dispose of a particular type of waste, please call our National Call Centre on 08707 200 666 and one of our sales team will be happy to advise you and quote you for the collection and safe disposal of your hazardous waste.
