4:1 Traditional Screed

Readymixed sand & cement screed is an ideal screed for flooring and roofing applications.

These screeds are generally laid between 50mm and 100mm thick and can be used in all situations where a final covering is applied.

Sand & cement screed can be laid to falls and is suitable for wet areas but will not endure being saturated. Shower / wet areas need to have a waterproof covering i.e. vinyl, tiles etc.

Also, Readymixed sand & cement screed can be used as ground floor slabs (floating foundations), used on suspended floors, as a topping to lightweight screeds or other lightweight aggregates, and can also be used as a floating construction over insulation to give acoustic or thermal properties.
