Nationwide Direct Screeds are high strength flooring materials designed to provide a solution in the form of a flat surface to irregular, uneven or sloping bases.
Ideally suited to new build houses or similar situations, they are also used in renovation, extension and refurbishment projects.
Nationwide Direct can supply a wide range of screeding materials to meet individual and specific requirements, the most popular being '4:1 Traditional Screed'.
In addition to these, we also supply 'FibreScreed' which helps stop cracking due to added fibres for extra reinforcement. A typical application example of using screeds with fibres is in the construction of underfloor heating.
We also supply 'Early Strength Screed' which is a strong, high performance quality screed which will dry in approximately half the time taken by traditional floor screeds. In addition to shorter drying times, this screed offers an excellent workability and is particularly ideal for well used floors. Also, ES screed can be used in sound and thermal insulation and weight-reduction applications.
